Also please confirm is this a Black-Caped Chickadee or a Carolina? I have Carolina Chickadees in my back yard and they seem over all more light grey. So I'm swaying towards Black-Caped.

Great hat. Really great fit with elastic band at the bottom of the hat. Not all corduroy hats have the elastic making them not fit 100%. This one fits me well and the chickadee looks fantastic.

hat is adorable and soft and perfect, BUT as previous reviews mention it is on the larger side. Unfortunately too big for me (average sized lady head) so I handed it off to my boyfriend (large sized guy head), he wears it often and is frequently complemented on it. I'm jealous.

Really nice quality hat! It's unfortunately too big for my tiny head (the adjustment band at the back is awesome and well-designed, but my head is so small it bunches up too much in the back haha), so I'll be gifting it to a bird-loving friend with a bigger noggin ;P
Would also be nice if there were other colour options other than the pink :)

Such a cute hat! I love it! I was specifically looking for a pink hat like this but not a sports or trucker type one. I like to wear these with hoods during the winter and I like the wide brim because my glasses fit under it. The fact that it was pink AND had a chickadee on it sealed the deal for me!! First to our feeder every day, the chickadee has long been my wife's favorite front yard bird (the back yard belongs to our dog). She also happens to be a hat person with literally dozens of hats, so this was right up her alley. Cute hat! I've had many compliments on it already. The adjustable strap makes it easy to wear, and it can be tightened up in the wind. The brim is flat and stiff, and I've not had any problems using my binoculars or telephoto lens while wearing it.
