What do you seek to communicate in your work?
I’m an illustrator and graphic designer. My work is bright, bold and colorful. I am driven and inspired by my love of nature.
How has nature been a source of inspiration for you?
There is literally nothing manmade that I find even remotely as cool as a neat bug or flower I spot on a walk. Everything I create is just attempting to imitate the beauty of the natural world. I enjoy sharing the world through my eyes and hope it sparks wonder.
Tell us about your most memorable bird experience.
Since I grew up traveling I remember noticing bird songs and calls from a young age. From one state to another it would be an entirely new audioscape. I think because it was always new and changing I was less likely to ignore it. It became so fun for me to try to spot all the new birds everything I arrived somewhere new.
